1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Text2Sheets (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Text2Sheets is operated by an individual developer and provided on a personal, best-effort basis. It is not a professional services organization, consultancy, or data-processing contractor.

2. Description of the Service

Text2Sheets is a lightweight, web-based tool that converts unstructured text into structured CSV files and spreadsheet-ready formats. The Service may include:

• AI-powered text analysis and conversion
• CSV export features
• Google Sheets integration
• Optional Beta or experimental features
• Storage of temporary processing logs
• Integration with third-party APIs (OpenAI, Google, Gumroad, Firebase)

The Service may change, evolve, or be discontinued at any time.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features, you may be required to create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain security of your credentials
• Accept responsibility for all actions under your account
• Notify us of unauthorized access or security concerns

We are not responsible for losses arising from compromised accounts.

4. Plans, Payments, and Subscriptions

4.1 Free Plan

• Unlimited text processing
• Basic AI processing
• Ad-supported experience
• CSV export
• Google Sheets integration

4.2 Pro Plan

• Higher usage limits
• Premium AI processing
• Unlimited conversions within fair use
• Priority processing
• No ads

4.3 Enterprise

Custom pricing and features as agreed.

4.4 Gumroad Payment Handling

• All payments, renewals, refunds, and billing issues are exclusively handled by Gumroad.
• By purchasing or subscribing, you acknowledge Gumroad’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy govern your transaction.
• Text2Sheets does not store payment information.
• Text2Sheets cannot modify, cancel, refund, or access your subscription.
• Chargebacks or disputed payments may lead to immediate account suspension.
• You must manage all billing through your Gumroad account.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Upload only content you have the right to use
• Avoid uploading regulated, sensitive, or confidential information
• Validate all AI-generated outputs before using them
• Back up your input and output files
• Ensure your use complies with local laws (GDPR, KVKK, CCPA, etc.)

The Service is not designed for permanent storage of your data.

6. Data Processing, AI, and Privacy

6.1 AI Processing

Your text may be transmitted to third-party AI providers (e.g., OpenAI) for processing. AI outputs may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or errors. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all results.

6.2 Data Storage

• We may store temporary logs, conversion metadata, usage analytics via Mixpanel, and technical data needed to operate the Service.
• Processed text may be stored temporarily for support, debugging, or abuse prevention.
• We may delete stored data at any time without notice.

6.3 Transfer of Data

Data may be processed in countries outside your own (including the United States). By using the Service, you consent to these transfers.

6.4 Not for Sensitive Data

You must not upload health/medical data, financial account numbers, government IDs, biometric identifiers, client databases, or any data regulated under GDPR Special Categories, KVKK, HIPAA, or similar laws. Doing so is strictly prohibited.

6.5 Analytics

We use Mixpanel analytics and cookies to monitor and improve the Service; by creating an account or continuing to use the Service, you consent to this analytics tracking.

6.6 Firestore Storage

Text2Sheets uses Google Firestore to store certain user-related data necessary for operating the Service. This may include account information, processed text metadata, conversion history, usage limits, settings, authentication tokens, and technical logs. Firestore storage is used strictly to provide and improve the Service, monitor abuse, maintain security, and support user functionality. Stored data may be deleted, modified, or purged at any time for operational or security reasons. You acknowledge that Firestore is a third-party service, and Text2Sheets is not responsible for its availability, reliability, data replication behavior, or regional storage decisions. By using the Service, you consent to the storage and processing of your data in Firestore, including in data centers located outside your country.

7. Google Sheets Integration

Google Sheets functionality depends on Google’s APIs. You acknowledge that Google may modify or restrict API access; authentication may fail or be revoked; quotas or rate limits may apply; data inside your Google account is your sole responsibility; and Text2Sheets is not liable for Google API outages, permission errors, data corruption, or loss.

8. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for illegal activities
• Upload copyrighted or proprietary content without permission
• Submit malware, harmful code, or attempts to exploit the system
• Share your account with others
• Attempt to reverse engineer or disrupt the Service

We may suspend accounts violating these rules.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, software, design, and features are owned by the developer of Text2Sheets. You retain ownership of your input text and generated CSV files and outputs. You grant Text2Sheets a limited license to process your content solely to operate the Service.

10. Disclaimer: No Professional Advice

The Service does not provide legal, financial, compliance, tax, or professional advice. All outputs require independent validation.

11. Warranty Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TEXT2SHEETS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF AI OUTPUTS. CSV conversions may contain errors. You assume full responsibility for verifying all results.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Text2Sheets is not liable for data loss or corruption, loss of profits or revenue, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, Google API failures, Gumroad payment issues, or AI output inaccuracies. Total liability for all claims in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid in the previous three months, or USD $100, whichever is greater.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the developer of Text2Sheets from all claims, damages, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

14. Availability and Modifications

The Service may be modified, rate-limited, suspended, or discontinued at any time for maintenance, security, or business needs. We may also update these Terms. Continued use means you accept the new Terms.

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately for violations of these Terms, abuse or security risks, fraud or chargebacks, or unpaid/disputed payments. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Sections related to warranty, liability, and indemnification continue to apply.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the developer operates. Any disputes must be resolved exclusively in those courts.
